4-year-old child killed in Geneva Co. single-vehicle wreck, 8 others injured

A single-vehicle wreck on Saturday in Geneva County claimed the life of a 4-year-old Midland City child, and left eight others injured.

Tucker was not properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to police reports. 
The fatal crash happened at 6:55 p.m. on Geneva County Road 89 east of Geneva. Zyrioh Tucker died when the Chevrolet Avalanche she was riding in exited the roadway and rolled. Tucker was not in a car seat and was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the Avalanche, 32-year-old Starlea Knight, was taken to a local hospital, where she is listed in critical condition. The seven other occupants of the vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
