The second fatal crash this weekend has been reported in Dale County. It happened earlier this morning on South County Road 67 near Midland City. The wreck is being investigated by Alabama State Troopers with the assistance of the Dale County Sheriff's Office and Midland City police. Another fatal crash was reported on Saturday morning near the intersection of Murphy Mill Road and JB Chapman Road. It remains under investigation by Dothan Police.

Authorities identified the victim as Shantawe Angelic Hamilton. According to police, the accident occurred early Sunday morning on Dale County Road 67just north of Midland City when the 2008 Nissan Altima she was driving left the road and struck a tree.
