Alabama State Troopers say a single-vehicle crash on Alabama Route 17 claimed the life of a Ward man
23-year-old Deante Rashad Maye died Saturday evening just outside of York, Alabama. Maye was traveling on Alabama Route 17 when his Ford Fusion went off the road and collided with a tree. The accident occured around 6:20 p.m. on October 18, 2014. Maye, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
