Hit-and-run victim dies of injuries
A 66-year-old man has died from injuries he sustained during a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle April 28 on East Michigan Avenue in Foley.
Suspect arrested following deadly hit-and-run in Foley
Foley Police say Steven Lynch, who is suspected of hitting George Chiribao and leaving the scene was arrested in New Mexico on Friday. Lynch is charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident.
Suspect Apprehended in Hit and Run Death in Foley
George Chiribao, 66, died four days after the hit and run accident.
George Chiribao was struck by a motorcyclist on April 28th on East Michigan Avenue. The motorcyclist fled the scene, and Chiribao was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Anyone with any information about the motorcyclist is asked to call the Foley Police Department at 251.943.4431.
