Paul "Bear" Sexton, 17, and Lydia Peace, 17, killed in crash that left vehicle on fire on Baldwin County 64 in Foley, Alabama
Another tragedy at the end of a school year as two Foley teenagers were killed in a car crash over the weekend. According to friends and family 17 year old Paul "bear" Sexton and his good friend 17 year old Lydia Peace were returning from helping out a relative on Saturday afternoon when Peace apparently lost control hitting a tree.
17-year-old Paul ‘Bear’ Sexton would have turned 18 on Father’s Day. Saturday afternoon he was the passenger in a vehicle a witness told Christina was right in front of him when it veered off County Road 64 near Rosinton and into a ditch. Thursday there will be a fundraiser at Symbolic Ink in Foley starting at 2 o’clock until closing. All proceeds from the sale of tattoos and other merchandise will be donated to help cover Paul Sexton’s funeral expenses.
As many of you may know the public safety family in Baldwin County is hurting from several tough losses over the last few weeks - we have established this account in hopes to raise money to assist with the expenses associated with the loss of the beloved child of Fred Peace with Coastal Alabama Community College (formally with Medstar EMS) and Juanita Strehle with Loxley PD.
