Woman struck and killed on Airport Boulevard, Theordore woman arrested for leaving the scene

Miller was arrested by Alabama State Troopers and transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail where she was charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident.
Mary L. Ramsey, 67, of Mobile was struck by a 2004 Buick Rendezvous driven by Mechelle Nicole Miller, 26, of Theodore, while Ramsey was walking on Airport Boulevard about 2 miles west of Mobile. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Miller, who was not injured in the crash, fled the scene but later returned.
