Police pursuit in Prichard ends with fatal crash
Investigators say, Anteesha Banks, 21, of Prichard was killed instantly when 33-year-old Charles Dennis, wanted by police, plowed into her vehicle. Banks's six month old daughter was in the back seat and taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. According to family members she’s back at home. A press release from the mayor’s office stated, Dennis was attempting to flee Prichard Police after running through a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of Seminary St. and Clark Ave. at a very high rate of speed. His vehicle collided with Banks at the intersection of Prichard Ave and Bella St., which is about an 0.5 mile away.
