Investigators have reason to believe the child was sleepwalking when the accident happened. They say the parents took all the proper steps to lock up the house the night before. "According to family, she has a history of sleep walking. Without being specific, the child had a number of challenges she was facing and was on a variety of medications," said Lieutenant Paul Burch with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.
