Boater killed in crash along Lake Harding in Lee County
Lee County Coroner Bill Harris tells News 3 around 6AM two boats crashed along Lake Harding. The driver of the smaller boat was killed in the crash, the driver of the other boat survived.

The wreck happened in Halawakee Creek off of the Lee County Road 368 point. That is near the Georgia state line.

Harris said Mitchell was driving an aluminum jon boat east on the lake near the bank. He said Mitchell rounded a point when he collided almost head-on with a large, fiberglass bass boat.
