Victim in fiery, fatal 18-wheeler crash identified as Baltimore man.

Authorities are releasing the name of an 18-wheeler driver who died following a fiery crash on Interstate 85 Tuesday morning.

Crews worked for much of the day to remove a burned 18-wheeler from a bridge and the waters below it. Following the vehicle's removal, the roadway will remain closed until inspectors can do an assessment report on the bridge.

One person died in the crash. He was later identified as Gerald Eugene Kess, Sr., 62. The cause of the crash also remains under investigation.
