The woman, whom police have not publicly identified, was crossing the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle headed south on C Street near Fireweed Lane, according to police statement.

Gunlik was crossing the road near Fireweed Lane and C Street when she was struck by a vehicle driving southbound on C Street around 4 a.m. Saturday morning, police said. She was declared dead at the scene.
