UPDATE: Dowling Road reopened following three-vehicle crash near roundabout
Police responded to the crash at around 5:34 p.m. According to witnesses, a Jeep Patriot driving southbound on the highway was travelling too fast when it took the Dowling exit and was unable to make the turn into the roundabout, police said.
The jeep went into the eastbound lanes on Dowling road where it struck a black Chevy truck and then a black Toyota Camry, police said.
“The Jeep flipped over, slid across the roof of the Camry, and then came to a rest on its roof on the roadway,” police wrote in a statement.
