A small passenger car was southbound “at a high rate of speed” on the Kenai Spur Highway near Mile 15 when it passed a vehicle on the right side, lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic around 5 p.m., the Kenai Police Department wrote on Facebook.

The Kenai Police Department identified the deceased in the July 17 crash as Antonio De La Cruz, 24 of Kenai, who was the driver; Anthony Martin, 32 of West Palm Beach, Florida; and Terry Reed, 24 of Kenai.
