A 55-year-old man driving a SUV collided with a truck shortly after 2:30 a.m., according to media reports. The man was transported to a Tucson hospital with serious injuries.
Impairment suspected in wrong-way I-10 crash
State troopers found the driver of the SUV, a 55-year-old man from Tucson, in critical condition, and he was immediately flown to Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix with life-threatening injuries, the agency said.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
