2 dead, 5 injured in serious rollover crash in Peoria

Two people are dead and five more, some of them children, are hurt after a serious rollover wreck at 75th and Northern avenues. The crash is under investigation, but Wolfe said this is not a hit-and-run situation. Investigators are trying to piece together the moments leading up to the crash, but they have not determined what caused the vehicle to roll. Two injured adults were transported by ground ambulance, as well. The other three were transported by ground ambulance.

Peoria police identify driver, passenger killed in rollover crash

Peoria police have identified two people who died in a rollover crash at Northern and 75th avenues on Sunday. Three children in the vehicle, ranging in age from 3 to 11, were transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. Kennedy was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. Wolfe said at this time, impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash. Police said several passengers were ejected after the two-vehicle wreck and both vehicles were left upside down.
