A 4-year-old boy who was wearing a helmet has been taken to a nearby trauma center and is in "very stable" condition, according to a Phoenix fire spokesperson.

Police investigators have determined Vincent Reid, 30, was weaving through traffic around 10 a.m. when he came up behind a dump truck that was slowing to make a right turn.
