Sgt. Vince Lewis, Phoenix Police Department spokesman, said at this time investigators know that a pickup truck was westbound on Southern Avenue when it crossed the center line and collided with a silver passenger car. Officials believe the silver car was traveling east when it spun in front of a Valley Metro bus that was approaching a bus stop.
