PD: Motorcyclist killed in crash was trying to pass turning SUV
According to Sgt. Alan Pfohl of the Phoenix Police Department, the motorcyclist was heading south on 15th Avenue behind an SUV that had slowed to turn right into a driveway. The motorcyclist tried to pass on the right and collided with the SUV as it turned.
