Police: Vehicle strikes, injures pedestrian on Phoenix sidewalk
Officers responded to the area near 24th Street and Indian School Road just before 4 p.m. after witnesses reported that a westbound black vehicle crossed into eastbound traffic and onto the sidewalk before striking the pedestrian, according to Phoenix police spokeswoman Sgt. Mercedes Fortune.
