Sgt. Ben Hoster said an SUV was exiting a parking lot on the west side of Frank Lloyd Wright when it traveled across the roadway in an attempt to enter a parking lot on the east side of the street.

Steel's motorcycle, which was traveling northbound, hit the SUV as it crossed the road. Steel was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.
