Rollover crash kills 1, injures 3 near Maricopa

Six people were riding in the vehicle that crashed on State Route 238, prompting the transportation of three people by helicopter to a hospital, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. 

Rollover crash ejects and kills baby, injures 6 others

All passengers but the mother and her 3 1/2-month-old baby were wearing seat belts. An adult passenger in the front seat was seriously injured, though non-fatally, while three other children who were buckled in the back seat received minor injuries, Hegstrom said.

Hegstrom said witnesses told investigators one of the tires on the Explorer separated causing the vehicle to roll.
A 3 1/2 month old infant was killed and three injured after a rollover crash on Saturday morning on State Route 238 near Maricopa, Arizona. Six people were riding in the vehicle that crashed. Three of the victims were flown by helicopter to the a hospital. The infant and their mother were not wearing seatbelts. The crash investigation is ongoing.
