Motorcyclist sent to hospital after accident
Franklin explained that the motorcycle was traveling east on 16th Street approaching Arizona Avenue at the same time as the pickup truck. The pickup, which arrived at the intersection first, attempted to turn south onto Arizona and was struck by the motorcycle. Franklin said the driver of the pickup attempted the turn on a red turn arrow and was cited.
