Bentonville police identify Springdale woman, 62, as suspected driver in fatal crash

The vehicle that police believe struck and killed a 33-year-old Centerton man Tuesday was impounded Wednesday after Bentonville police stopped the driver.

Aron Nathanial Romero, 33, of Centerton was identified as the dead motorcycle driver, authorities said. He was driving a 2003 Honda XTR when the incident took place.

Organizers to hold memorial bike ride for man killed in motorcycle crash

Organizers will hold a memorial bike ride for Romero on Saturday. Bikers are asked to meet at the First Baptist Church in Centerton at 9 a.m.  
Aron Nathaniel Romero was riding his motorcycle on Southwest Regional Airport Road when he struck the back of a car driven by Kortney Payton, 18. The impact threw Romero into the path of a third vehicle driven by Tommie Prickett, 62. Romero sustained fatal injuries. Prickett did not stop after the accident but continued driving west. Prickett's car was impounded the following day as part of the investigation.
