Aaron L. Beaver, 27, killed in car collision with train on Lincoln Street in Piggott, Arkansas

A 27-year-old Piggott man was killed Sunday when the vehicle he was driving was hit by a train in Clay County. Arkansas State Police say it happened shortly after 3:15 p.m. at a railroad crossing on Lincoln Street west of U.S. 49 in Piggott. According to a report, Aaron L. Beaver was driving a 1997 Ford east on the street when he tried to cross the tracks and was hit by the southbound train.
