2 killed in head-on crash near Holly Springs

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ark. — Arkansas State Police say a man and a woman have been killed in a head-on collision in Dallas County. The report says the two were northbound in a vehicle driven by Thompson when it was struck head-on by a southbound vehicle that had crossed the centerline. A state police report says 30-year-old Ashley Dawn Webb of Bearden and 50-year-old Eldon Wayne Thompson of Sparkman died in the crash on Highway 128 shortly before 12:30 a.m. The report says the weather was clear and road was dry at the time. No other injuries were reported.
