Report: Plane crash occurred 1 minute after takeoff

Pilot, passenger recovering after Baxter Co. crash

Thirty-six-year-old pilot Andrew Tuberville was released from the Baxter Regional Medical Center on Wednesday. Forty-eight-year-old passenger Ronnie Skaggs is listed in good condition at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Two hurt in airplane crash at Midway

 Personnel at 911 say the accident was reported at 5:49 p.m. Responding agencies were the sheriff's department, Arkansas State Police, Office of Emergency Management, BRMC ambulance and the Midway Volunteer Fire Department.

A plane went down near the Ozark Regional Airport in Midway, injuring two people. Both people suffered head injuries, and are recieving medical treatment. The plane was considered an experimental aircraft. Both men are expected to survive. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
