2 Dead After Collision in Lee County

Two are dead after a car wreck in Lee County. Police say it happened shortly before 9 p.m. Friday night on state highway 261. 25-year-old Timothy Prentice and 44-year-old Gerald Thompson died in the accident. Officials say Prentice was driving a truck and Thompson was a passenger in a jeep when the cars collided. It's unknown which vehicle crossed the center line.
