Four-year-old falls out of moving bus
Video of the incident shows the back door of the bus springing open and the young girl plummeting to the road. "I couldn't believe it, it was so shocking," said Ryan Ciampoli, who was driving behind the bus in Harrison, Arkansas.
Ciampoli, who is a trained emergency medical technician, ran to the little girl's rescue after her terrifying tumble on Wednesday. His vehicle is fitted with a dash cam that recorded the incident because he sometimes uses it when on duty, Ciampoli said.

He carried her off the road where they laid her on a truck bed in a nearby parking lot and got to work keeping her conscious and checking her vitals. Once the adrenaline kicked in, he said she began kicking and screaming for her mom.
The paramedics arrived in about 5 minutes and transported her to the hospital. She has a broken jaw and will need surgery to repair it. She is expected to make a full recovery.

After an injury car accident, take these steps to help the recovery process
When someone has been injured in a car crash, it's hard to know what to do to help. Injured people need appropriate medial treatment, but they also need to have their civil and legal rights protected.
After a serious crash, several steps need to be taken, including dealing with the insurance companies, tracking and documenting lost income from missed work, coordinating medical bill payments, and handling an insurance claim.
