James Barnes, 37, and Dempsy Thompson, 54, injured in two-vehicle accident on the Sheid-Hopper Bypass in Mountain Home, Arkansas

According to the report from the Mountain Home Police Department, Thompson was on Charles Blackburn Drive attempting to cross the Sheid-Hopper Bypass with a green light. A vehicle on the bypass, driven by Barnes, reportedly failed to stop at the red light and struck Thompson’s vehicle on the driver’s side rear panel. Barnes was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
