Teen passenger killed in Marion County wreck

A 19-year-old passenger was killed Sunday afternoon in a collision in Marion County, authorities said. It wasn't clear what caused the collision. The death was the 281st in a traffic crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures. It happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Arkansas 14 about a 1 1/2 miles south of Yellville. Arkansas State Police say Robert J. Henderson of Brockwell was a passenger in a westbound 2006 Nissan Altima that crossed into the eastbound lanes and hit a 2005 Ford Explorer.
