A 32-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Colorado, were passing another vehicle as they headed south on the highway Saturday when they collided head-on with a box truck traveling in the opposite direction.

While their identities haven’t yet been released by the Kern County Coroner’s office, the victims were a male, 32, and a female, 27.
