Deputies said they originally thought the passenger was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, but after further investigation they have issued a warrant for George Daniel Ellis III, 43, of Orland.

George Daniel Ellis III, 43, is believed to be the driver of a car that crashed on April 6, killing passenger Jeffery Stogsdill. At about 8:50 a.m., a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle but it kept going. While fleeing the deputy, Ellis lost control and overturned the vehicle. The passenger, Stogsdill, was ejected and killed in the crash. Ellis fled the scene on foot.

I can't even begen with any words that could even come close to describing the feelings of this tragedy. I have never experienced death of this magnitude. I have lost a lot of people that were very close to me.Including both of my parents.And nothing has affected me in this manner.I believe this to be ?because somthing has occurred that is very wrong I don't know that this wrong will ever be uncovered and become justice for JR but the truth needs to be told . So that this entire. community can mourn. And let him rest in piece He truely deserves that respect. Cuz know that he might not be here in flesh but he will never ever leave this town we will all keep him alive
