Los Banos police say 1 killed in DUI street-racing crash

Los Banos police say one man has been killed and another sustained injuries after a drunk driver who had been street racing crashed into them. Investigators say the suspect ran a stop sign Sunday morning and slammed into the victim's car. Police have also notified Alcohol Beverage Control officials about the crash due to the suspect being underage. KFSN-TV reports 20-year-old Marcus Perez-Negrete of Clovis has been arrested and is facing several charges, including DUI and vehicular manslaughter. A 60-year-old man in the passenger seat died after being ejected from the vehicle and the driver suffered minor injuries.
