Mother Of Two Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver In Bellflower

Paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, he said.  The Nissan sustained substantial collision damage to the front bumper and windshield. Anyone with information about the crash was urged to call the traffic details at the sheriff's Lakewood Station at (562) 623-3500.
A woman hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Bellflower was identified as 30-year-old mother of two Makeda More. She was crossing the street at Los Angeles Street and Lakewood Boulevard when a dark-colored Nissan hit her just before 9:45 p.m. Saturday. The driver fled the scene, heading south on Lakewood Boulevard.
