Remote Start Car Runs Over Driver, Crashes Into Restaurant
A man was run over by his own car after remotely starting the vehicle while it was in gear.
A man was standing in front of his Nissan outside of a Thai restaurant on Western Avenue in Gardena when he started the vehicle remotely. The car was unfortunately left in gear, so when it was started it ran over its owner and smashed into the restaurant. No one inside the business was hurt, and the vehicle's owner suffered only minor injuries.
