Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters and paramedics were called at 4:08 a.m. to the transition road from the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway and the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway where they found the victims, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
