Driver, 91, strikes and kills pedestrian, injures another in Mar Vista

Drake said the driver, a 91-year-old woman whose name was not released, was interviewed at the scene. She was not arrested, but the investigation was continuing.

A 91-year-old woman struck two people in a post office parking lot while backing out on South Grand View Boulevard, killing one and injuring another. The woman who died at the scene was 74 years old. Her husband was 83-years-old and he suffered cuts and bruises. The incident is still under investigation.
