Motorcyclist Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Truck: LAPD
Police did not have a the color of the pick up track believed to have struck the motorcyclist, according to the LAPD. Anyone with information was asked to call the LAPD Valley Traffic Division at 818-644-8000.
Northridge motorcyclist’s Reseda death not a hit-and-run; witnesses still sought
The accident occurred on Reseda Boulevard just north of Ingomar Street about 8:45 p.m. Monday. The motorcyclist, who died at a hospital, was identified as Ziyad Riyad O Afandi, 26, of Northridge, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
