A man was killed and another was injured in a two-boat collision during a racing event on a San Dimas lake Saturday morning, park officials say. The crash took place about 11:15 a.m. at Puddingstone Lake at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park near where the 10 and 57 freeways meet. The boats collided during a practice lap held on the second day of a scheduled three-day powerboat racing event hosted by the Southern California Outboard Association, park officials said. The identity of the 65-year-old man who died has not been released. The man who was injured was hospitalized. Puddingstone Lake had been reserved for the private event. The race was canceled and lake will remain closed as officials investigate the crash. Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County Coroner’s officials are coordinating an investigation into the accident. "Our thoughts are with those affected by the accident on Saturday morning at Puddingstone Lake," said Russ Guiney, the Department of Parks and Recreation's director
