The vehicle believed to have hit the victims was described as a silver Chevy S-10 Extreme with decals last seen heading eastbound on Las Tunas Drive, according to Sgt. D. Gosserand.

The truck had an extended cab, chrome rims and tint on the rear windows, the lieutenant added. It had “noticeable” damage to its front end, which was concentrated on the driver-side headlight. The Chevrolet emblem from the front of the truck became dislodged during the collision and was found at the scene.

"We are looking for a late 90s, early 2000s Chevy s10, blue in color with some decals on it. It has front-end damage," Capt. Fabian Valdez said.
