John Burroughs High School alumni killed in crash remembered

Friends and classmates expressed their sadness and shock at the tragic deaths of three former John Burroughs High School students killed in a Santa Clarita car crash Friday morning.
Though all passengers were wearing seat belts, two men and one woman were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. One man had life-threatening injuries and another man had minor injuries, and both were airlifted to local hospitals. “It was an off-road area and the driver was apparently doing some kind of off-road style driving and lost control of his vehicle,” CHP Officer Eric Priessman said. “We don’t know if alcohol played a role in the crash, but we are still looking at that possibility.”
