The single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 9:20 a.m. Thursday when a vehicle traveling in the northbound lanes of Highway 14 left the roadway and went down an embankment at Escondido Canyon Road near Agua Dulce, Inspector Richard Licon of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
