The crash was reported at 7:55 p.m. Thursday and Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the area of Astoria Street and Foothill Boulevard where they learned the 35-year-old motorist was driving east on Foothill Boulevard when the crash occurred, LAPD Officer J. Chavez told City News Service.
Man, Woman Killed in Crash in Sylmar
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
