FATAL MULTI-CAR CRASH SHUTS ALL WB LANES OF 10 FWY IN WEST COVINA

The wreck occurred just east of Citrus Street shortly after 1 a.m. According to California Highway Patrol, five cars were involved - a semi pulling a container, Lexus SUV, Toyota sedan, Audi and a Toyota pickup truck.

Two people were killed - one person from the Audi and one from the Toyota pickup.

One person was injured and taken to a hospital, said California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.

The male driver of the Toyota Tacoma, whose age was unknown, died at the scene, the CHP reported. The 90-year-old was a passenger in the Audi, whose driver, a 68-year-old Pasadena woman, suffered moderate injuries.
