CHP: Wrong-way Highway 101 Salinas driver caused deadly crash

Luciano Rojas Medina was driving a Chevrolet Silverado northbound in the southbound lanes when he collided head-on with a Nissan Frontier. A Honda Odyssey and BMW were also struck by the wrong-way driver.

Monterey County Wrong-Way Driver Sentenced To Prison In Fatal Crash

A Salinas man has been sentenced to 17 years and two months in state prison for a 2018 fatal collision while driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Monterey County District Attorney Jeannine Pacioni.
