Man Killed By Hit-and-Run Driver in OC

A man was fatally struck while walking in a cross walk Friday night in San Juan Capistrano, firefighters said. The collision was reported around 10:10 p.m. on Del Opispo and Paseo Carolina, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. The victim, who was in his 20's, died while being transported to a hospital, firefighters said. There have been no arrests made in connection with the hit-and-run, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The hit-and-run collision was under investigation.

Andy, 23, died from the crash, which happened around 10:10 p.m. in San Juan Capistrano. The suspected driver, 19-year-old Andrew Christopher Michaels, was arrested Saturday night, police said. After becoming an unwitting witness to her brother’s death, Jennifer created a GoFundMe page for her family, hoping to raise $10,000.
