Vehicle pursued by deputies in Orange County crashes into another vehicle, critically injuring a motorist
The deputies began pursuing the vehicle, which allegedly had an undisclosed code violation, from the Orange area until it crashed into the victim’s vehicle at Santa Clara and Tustin Avenues in Santa Ana about 8:25 p.m., said Santa Ana police Commander Sergio Enriquez.

Carreravasquez was charged with two counts of evading police causing bodily injury, one count each of driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury, evading police-reckless driving, hit-and-run with injury and vandalism, all felonies.
