Police said the 1999 model car was traveling east on Racquet Club when Peciukevicius lost control, causing the vehicle to veer into westbound lanes and hit a tree.

Darius Borvainas, 38, of Los Angeles and Villius Peciukevicius, 23, of Winnetka died at the scene of the crash on Racquet Club Road near Indian Canyon Drive. Police said speeding apparently contributed to the crash.
