The two men had been part of a group ride of about 25 to 50 people with the Ruthless Ryderz Motorcycle Club, Baer said. Around 11 a.m. the first rider failed to make a turn on La Sierra Avenue, hit the dirt shoulder and was thrown from his bike, a 2005 Kawasaki, Baer said.

As he was heading south La Sierra Avenue toward Cajalco Road, he failed to make a right turn and was thrown from his motorcycle as it rolled, California Highway Patrol Officer Dan Olivas said in a news release.
