Police were unable to get much descriptive information about the truck, only that it possibly has some front-end or passenger-side damage, investigators said.

The hit-and-run vehicle was initially believed to be a white SUV or pickup truck, but officers later said that they did not have a good description of the vehicle.
Police planned to examine video from a nearby police POD camera, which has an ability to read license plates.
